Spring Festivals and Events in Dallas

Between March and May, Dallas is alive with events and celebrations. Activities include events and festivals celebrating nature, holiday revelries, food and wine tasting events, and art and science exhibits.

Dallas Arboretum Festivals and Events

The Dallas Arboretum hosts regular events and festivals every year. Its annual springtime festival, Dallas Blooms, takes place throughout March and early April.  The Storybook Playhouses Exhibit features 16 playhouses based on children's stories. Also, there is an Easter festival that features a petting zoo and live bunny photographs. If you end up loving the arboretum, buy the annual membership which allows free admission to the Dallas Arboretum and includes free or discounted entry to its events and festivals.

Museum of Nature and Science Festivals and Events.

The Dallas Museum of Nature and Science offers regular "family festival days." This year's festival events include monthly "discovery days." The month of April features feature the following hands-on exhibits: "Egg-ceptional Eggs," "The Zoo Crew," "Space Shapes" and "Barnyard Bonanza."

Downtown Festivals and Events.

Downtown Dallas' historic West End also offers many festivals and events. The first Go Green event takes place on April 25. The Dallas Wine and Food Festival occurs April 22 through 26. The Dallas Museum of Art always has new and interesting exhibits, such a display of King Tutankhamun's artifacts, which continues through May 17.

If you live in Dallas, you're in luck; these events are just a stone's throw away.  If you don't live in Dallas, get here as soon as you can so that you won't miss these exciting events and festival celebrations.
