With a diverse population and a higher-than-average median home price, the Perry Heights neighborhood of Dallas is very popular with young professionals and families who are just getting started. Perry Heights is located between Hawthorne Avenue and Rawlins Street in the Oak Lawn section of town, not far from the heart of the city.
Although this is one of the most urban neighborhoods in Dallas, Perry Heights has plenty of beautifully landscaped parks where children can play such as CraddockPark on Hawthorne. Many children attend Holy Trinity Catholic School, though the public schools in this area are considered respectable.
Perry Heights real estate continues to boom regardless of the housing climate in Dallas as a whole, and ranges from high-priced condos to suburban neighborhoods with gated entrances and security service. There also are several apartment complexes offering a wide range of rents and amenities.

Named after the airport of the same name, which is home to Southwest Airlines' headquarters, Love Field is located in northwest Dallas and takes residents a little bit farther away from downtown. Many Love Field residents are airport employees, and the population is more diverse than in other neighborhoods of Dallas.
Love Field real estate consists of suburban single-family homes, apartment complexes, condos and several duplex communities. Bluffview
The Bluffview neighborhood of Dallas, located on the northwest edge of downtown, is one of the hilliest sections of the city. The Bluffview neighborhood was originally purchased by a developer named John Stevens in the early 1920s. It was annexed by Dallas some 20 years later. Home sizes were decreased significantly, but it is still considered a safe and affluent neighborhood of Dallas.
Bluffview real estate is not as diverse as other neighborhoods of Dallas, consisting mostly of single-family residences and luxury lofts. Generous home sizes combined with beautifully landscaped lawns and winding streets make this a pleasant and cozy place to live.

The Katy Trail (bike/skating/hiking) runs directly through the center of the Knox Park neighborhood, providing hours of entertainment for children and adults. It is also just north of West Village, which gives residents access to even more variety in entertainment.
Knox Park real estate is similar to that of other neighborhoods in Dallas, offering both single-family residences and apartments. There are several loft communities near the center of town, and many of the Knox Park residents rent rather than own.
There are dozens of neighborhoods in and around Dallas; each offers unique historical and current amenities. Since many of the residential neighborhoods are located near downtown, residents can enjoy both peace and quiet and commercial entertainment.
